I'm Kemi Hill...

... self care advocate, empath, lover of nature, recovering workaholic and self proclaimed "Life Designer".

Get to know me!

Like many, the last few years completely forced me to take a look at my life and it scared the shit out of me.  The pandemic allowed me the space to actually slow down but when that happened all the things I suppressed came to surface.  I had years of emotions, trauma, anger and fears that all showed up in a number of different ways.   Being a woman who is naturally "busy", I didn't know how to handle this thing I was experiencing.

Looking back now, the self care journey I started prior to the pandemic equipped me to handle this "twilight  zone" we now call everyday life.  I had this strong urge to go within and do some self discovery.  The world as I knew it no longer seemed familiar so I turned inward and that's how my healing journey deepened.

I spent lots and lots of time hiking alone in nature and it truly saved my life.  On the mountain is where I battled it out with my fears, hurts, disappointments and ego.  Through this experience I grew to love myself, I became excited about life again and I felt alive for the first time in what seems like forever.  I started waking up each day and saying to myself…”I’m going to design the life I want, I am powerful, equipped and capable.”

So out of this awakening… Design with Kemi was created.

Life Designer

One who reclaims and defines what it means to live a successful life.  To live authentically and genuinely.  Challenging oneself to exist in truth and often going against the grain of society.  To design a life that is aligned with your true wants and needs.

I’m a Life Designer.

You are a Life Designer.

We are Life Designers!

Our Mission

We create dope experiences for women of color to heal, be in community and most importantly… connect back to self.

Our Vision

To change the narrative amongst women of color when it comes to healing and connecting back to self.  We will be the bridge (solution) to the lack of exposure, tools and experiences available to communities of color.  In doing so, we will create a human collective that prioritizes mental, spiritual and physical health.
